Can I Drive Car with Faulty AC Compressor

Hi

My new purchase has developed a problem with the AC Compressor
SDS indicates a Faulty Control Valve in the Compressor.

Am I OK Driving the Car with this Fault with the AC set to Off ?

Thanks for any advice.

Yes, as long as the clutch doesn't engage, you're not affecting the compressor internals. You might want to unplug the harness from the compressor until you can get some repair just to be on the safe side.

Thanks Shadly

I will make sure the clutch is disengaged.
I assume it is electromagnetic so with no power it should be free.
