Quick Jack

Hello all. I am looking to purchase QuickJack from Costco.

Has any one had any experience on using Quick Jack on W221 S-550?

Is the QUICK JACK BL-5000SLX right for my W221? Wheel spread and lifting point etc.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

I looked long and hard at the QuickJack and decided that it would not work for the W221, safely. The lifting points on the QuickJack 5000 are not adequate to match the lifting points on the W221. I was told at the time, ~18 months ago, that there would be a QuickJack 6000 XLT which would work, but it was delayed. Then it was delayed again, and again, so I gave up on them.

However I still needed a lift or jack of sorts, so I researched a lot of options and wound up buying a 4post lift from Challenger. It is well overbuilt and I have no qualms about rolling underneath it on a creeper with my 4800lb car sitting above me.

Here's the link to the 6000 XLT QuickJack if you're interested;

Also here is the Challenger lift I bought;

It fits just fine in my standard height garage with an 8ft ceiling. You would not be able to lift the car high enough to walk under it unless your garage had a 15ft ceiling.

Have you guys seen this site? They have a lot of good options for lifting and jacking. The snap-in jack pads would work really well with a flat lift like a QuickJack.

Looks like the QuickJack6000XLT is out now.

One day I'll have a good 4 post but I'll lose a lot of valuable space in my garage if I do that.
I just cut down 2 Walmart jack stands and got a good fit into those lift points.

Yes I bought my Esco Jack stands from Fred (ReverseLogic owner) back in 2014. Easily among the best jack stands out there. As for the space in my garage, I just leave the lift in the highest position and park underneath it, it's just 4 12"x12" pads on the floor then.
