Thanks konigstiger

I will have my Indi check that out.

Hi

I had my Indi look at it.
All settings were correct but he could not update the software as he did not have access to the Mercedes site.

I will need to take it to the Stealer to have it re programmed if that is needed ?

I think we have taken this as far as it can go at this point; check your dealer.

Thanks Warren

I will try another Indi first then the next step is the stealer.

One more Question, when you select the passenger side mirror does the indicator light on the switch stay on (Latch), if it doesn't does the mirror dip when you select reverse or do you need to select the mirror again first ?

The way mine works is that in order to have the passenger mirror dip, I must leave that mirror selected in the door control panel. The light in the button is off when the ignition is off. Upon restarting, the light is off until the car is put into reverse, when it illuminates and the mirror repositions. After that, the light remains on until the car is placed in drive and the mirror repositions to normal - at that point it goes out.

Of course, if the passenger mirror button does not remain selected, none of this happens.

Thanks

Warren

My button light goes off after about 10 seconds and stays off even when reverse is selected. This is a very interesting difference and will possibly provider pointer to what the problem is, thanks.

Maybe that indicates a faulty switch, or maybe there is a difference between the MY10 and your MY13.

I would be interested to hear from another MY10 owner on this ?

I will be taking it to the other Indi next week and if he can't fix it to the Stealer the following week.

I will keep you all posted on how it pans out.

Thanks for the Help

My own '10 worked the same as my '13. You just need to get it to someone who can analyze it properly.
