Question Blinkers, AC and Windows Dead

I had alternator replaced this week and since then when I start the car the blinkers, all 4 windows/sunroof, and the AC are dead - no response, including the AC off light and the small window that displays the AC status. However, if I turn the car all the way off and back on, all of those things work indefinitely until I turn the car off again and go to restart.

As of right now Iíve repeated this sequence 5 times over 2 days. All of the things mentioned above donít work, then I turn car all the way off and let it power down, then restart it and they all work.

Any idea what may be up?

Welcome to the forum

I have never seen that one

This may be the one and only case where I would disconnect the Battery over night and then with a very deliberate and precise movement re connect it next day, do not dither, whack those connectors on without causing excessive sparking.

It may just cure your issue.

You will have to go round normalising things like sun roof, windows seats etc etc, see our Encyclopaedia in the Blue Stickies at top of forum page.

If not you are going to have to check things like charging rates, was a fuse popped etc etc etc.

Let us know how you get on
