Hi,

I expect they work, quality is dubious until it's a known quantity.

If I were you I'd visit a wrecking yard, pull a pair of Heated / Cooled Seats and left / right Front Door Control Modules, and fit them.

Don't stress if you can't get the right trim colour it is fairly straightforward to swap the covers especially as you have to R&I them to install the heated / cooled parts anyway, and if you can get the correct colour then it will take you about 2 hours to install the whole lot

HTH,

HTH,
Wow really? How complex is the wiring? My car never had heated seats so does a retrofit work easily?

Hi,

OK, I've never done this, but I have had my own Heated / Ventilated Seats out of the Car and in a million bits as I changed a damaged leather cover and added DVD Player Headrests.

IIRC, there will should be no extra wiring needed, DCM communicates with Seat Ctrl Module via CAN Bus, CAN Bus will already be there for the Seat Adjusters.

Worst case scenario you'll need to run a +ve feed from the Fuse Boxes to each Seat, but I think they run off the existing supply to the Seat Module anyways, I just had a very quick look and can see no separate Fuses or Relays listed for Heated Seats

You shouldn't even need to code the Modules on SDS if you get them all from the same Car.

HTH
