Merry Christmas to everyone! I will be treating the W220 to a nice top up of washer fluid, and a hoover

This Christmas season, the project 2000 S500's passenger door will be getting a "new used" inner door panel, a brand-new Genuine-MB driver's door lock assembly, and a few other clean-up things. The door lock assembly is here already, and the other parts were ordered Monday of this week, so they should be here just after Christmas. Reason for the new secondhand inner door panel is that the door-closing handle has been cracked since I got the car. This is the part of the handle onto which the cushy part snaps. M-B no longer makes that backing piece part of the door handle ("brace"?), so it's time for a door panel, which has also already arrived.

The S600 TT will be getting its front HVAC air pump troubleshot (it's not coming on). Rear HVAC works fine. Fuses already checked and contacts scrubbed with a wire brush last weekend. Also, the new Chinesium headlight lens covers have arrived, so I'll be doing that, too, provided that they fit well.

One Civic will be getting a new oil pump, and the other Civic will be getting a new alternator (parts are already here).

If there's time, I'll also upgrade the pair of Depo headlights on Dad's car to the Morimoto bi-xenon vampire-burners + Hella Gen 3 ballasts.

Lots of work to do this Christmas season!

Heh heh... :-)

The S600 TT's HVAC air pump might need replacing; I don't know just yet. If it does, I'll let you know; I know that you've got one around.

Had the interior of the project 2000 S500 car been Anthracite, I'd be hittin' you up for some door panels as well. As it turns out, this car uses interior color code 238A (Grey).
