Last time we checked there was no voltage at the relay but I will check again.
I know the compressor fires up because when i replaced it and it still didn't lift i took the old compressor and a battery charger as a power supply and it fired right up.
So last night i put that compressor back in the car. I then connected everything but the power harness to the compressor and i used some connectors to power the compressor directly off another battery with the ignition on.
The compressor fired up and after about a minute it sounded like it was fighting against pressure so i disconnected it because i didn't want to burn it up or blow one of the lines(nylon?).
The car didn't raise at all doing this.
If there is a valve between the compressor and the tank in the block and it isn't opening that would explain what I think I heard.
I will try to check the ground as soon as I can but the car is about an hour away at a friends house.
