Lumbar Support

Hello,
When it comes to the lumbar support on a '14 E350, how do I get it to its softest position? No matter what, I feel that there is always a hard spot digging into my lower back. How do I "reset" it so that it is at its softest point? I've played around with the lumbar adjustment button, but I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious. Thanks in advance.

If switch is, for the most part, operational with soften being the only concern have someone pull fault codes using MB DAS (diagnostics). Depending on severity of hard spot could be normal if not best case scenario module may need normalization, worst module needs replacement. My 2011 E350 has the seat controls on dials on the right side of the passenger seat. Moving these dials does nothing. i'm trying to diagnose without taking to dealership, who will charge $100+ to read codes.
