Best way to wake up sleeping car

I need to wake my e55 up from a long slumber.

I had a fresh battery put in about a year ago, but I'm assuming it will be dead.

Whats the best way to wake the car up, assuming a dead battery, and how to "prime" the engine of oil before actual start up. In other words how can I crank without ignition? I like to do this to my cars before actual starting if they've been sitting.

In the w126's I simply pull the plug to the EZL, or ignition coil. w211's are 'nother whole different thing.

Thanks in advance!
