Inexpensive front brake rotors for W211 AMG

Can't say how long they will be available, but Partsgeek.com has Brembo slotted-and-cross-drilled rotors that list for $1200 ea available for <$400 INCLUDING SHIPPING. I grabbed a couple sets already.

https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/20...ake_rotor.html

I know that solid rotors can carry more heat, but I'm not going racing, and I don't drive at the limit...ever. My car is used as a daily driver and there is substantial rain/fog/mist (read: frequently wet roads) where I live so I have justified in my mind the purchase and use of said rotors.
IAC, like so many other fools, I think the slotted-and-cross-drilled-rotors look is kinda sexy. Am I right, o' what?
BTW, Rock Auto sells a one-piece front solid rotor, a Wagner product, ~$300 ea. There may be others out there.

I use Mintex for both disc and pads . Used mintex for 50 years with no problems .If they cant make them, then no one can , they have been making brake parts for 100 years . Dont know if you will pick these up in the USA . Worth a try .

Dang it! I just checked the Mintex online catalogue = rears only. This is my recurrent discovery when seeking the massive front rotors for the E63.
BTW, I have family in England. My "mum" lives with my half sister and her family in Wellingborough, and I have a sister on the isle of Guernsey. (Please forgive the off-topic comment.)

Why are the 2008 e63 front rotors four times more expensive than the 2006 e55 rotors?

The E63 uses 2-piece rotors. Which make it a lot more expensive. Same thing with the W210 E55
