Idle Air Control Valve

On three occasions in the last 2 weeks the check engine light came on. A check with the code reader gave same Code everytime P0505 Idle Air Control Valve. My attempt to view the offender via google images was a fail. Can anyone post an image of the EXACT Idle Air Control Valve as well as its EXACT location on the W211 E55 engine? Any DIY help, instructions, hints, tip out there? Ive tried searching for youtube videos but found none. Does anyone know the EXACT part number and approximate price?
Thanks for any assistance.

mine was doing the same thing. there is a hose on the drivers side near the firewall that connects to a meta line on one end and throttle body on the other end. i had to throw some hose clamps on it and no more engine lights. pressure had it coming unhooked i guess.

Yeah I found that hose it's small about 1/4" in diameter. I reconnected it and no error codes have appeared. But I also noticed that on that same side there's connection on the big air intake hose its after the filter and before the throttle body at about 1/2"+diameter. There's nothing connected to it. I've looked all around the back of the engine bay trying to find a disconnected hose but found nothing. I sealed it with plastic and electrical tape to keep unclean air out. Do you know what this hose is or where I can find it

There should be another hose (or two if they're both missing) that connects that plastic union in the end of your pictured hose, to the LH Valve Cover breather. My photo shows two hoses (with another plastic union between them) that is routed under the fuel rail connection).
