'04 E500 With 129,000 miles - Injector Service?

I have a friend with a 2013 E350 Wagon and the Mercedes-Benz Dealer performed some miracle injector service. He said the difference in performance was noteworthy.

I've kept up the recommended service on our car even making a point to take it to a dealer at least once per year and they never offered to soak me for something like my friend had done. My car runs fine but do you think I can unlock more performance?

You actually stand to gain from an injector service, it's phenomenal actually!

That's how bad mine were before I cleaned them up, the car ran so badly; now yours may not be anywhere as bad as this(long story) but it may have some deposits there. I did mine at home with my mechanic friend using some home made gizmo; it's the most transformative kind of maintenance, once your fuel pump and filter are good, and your maf clean, no vacuum leaks; you basically have a new car! Throttle response is instant, power is superb.

I guess seafoam can help, the spray and motor treatment, maybe...

Ok long story; but let me try to be brief?

There was some extreme fuel scarcity that hit the country I think about a year ago and many resorted to buying 'black market' road side fuel sold in cans, silly but you can't actually avoid it; it was actually taking a toll on the economy; tons of people struggling to get out to work and do business.

Many times you get good petrol but I was unlucky on a certain day and this absolutely wicked and self centered boy dumped what I think is little petrol mixed with old engine oil or whatever sludgy crap he poured in, within a short ride the car was coughing and choking. I had to get back; scream at the guy and then go sort out the tank, I had to clean it dry, I had a vacuum pump to take the gas out.

I got a new filter, but I never got to service the injectors; I still wonder why?!! Anyway it was after a year, I couldn't believe this car could drive when I saw what it's had with it. Within the months the car was funny, never kept me on the road but wasn't ok. If I ever removed the battery it took the car almost 1 hour to adjust, I later realized self adaptation was kicking in frequently to adjust for the state of the injectors.

Fast forward to the day the car lost power so much; I had to use the low range to drag it back home; then that was the day I decided to go for the injectors and that's what I saw! It's not the usual thing like I said; it's a special case

For the maf, it's just dust bro! Inside is good; car runs so good now, power is great too.
