120 Speed Limit Exceded

Hi,
I live in UAE too, i experinced the same and tried everything, tell i found the solution, most probably you will not be able to do it by yourself because even if you have the system on you laptop you also need that device for checking (diagnostic connector)
Anyhow you have to go to a mechanic, he will remove this 120 from the car system kindly watch the video linked below:

If you ask me there's a service center in Shj called Kojack, they did not understand in the begining but i explaind it to them along with the video and fortunately they did it

Regards,

Like Katjek1,said,check your owners manual.
Controls in detail,Driving systems, Permanent Speedtronic.
Use the steering wheel controls to set or switch off.
Go to settings, arrow down to vehicle sub menu, select speed limit and reset to desired speed,or switch it off completely.

It has nothing to do with the speed limit in car setting, it's something built in the DAS/Star system

It was not clear that that was the case.
Is every car sold in UAE limited in speed to 120kph due to government control ?

I'm not sure, some cars have this security and some not, i think it depends on the dealer
