ABS rpm sensor replaced the rotation direction is incorrect

Hi has anybody ever experienced this before. i replaced a bad left rear abs speed sensor .and the new code i get with star diagnostics is 4823 L6/3(left rear speed sensor) the rotation direction is incorrect... i used a pex abs sensor. when i check the actual vaules all 4 wheels are turning the same speed. any body have any suggestions. I thought about switching the location of the pins in the plug. but i thought i would ask for suggestions first.. thanks Dan i tried clearing the code a couple times but it returns almost instantly the car is an E350 2006
