Question Price for repairing stuck rear seat W210 wagon?

Hello,
After 6 years of not fixing my stuck rear seat, (the driver's side 2/3) I am tempted to let a professional look at it. Has anyone paid for this repair, or have a guess on who would be best to fix it? At this point, the cargo cover keeps me from accessing the mechanism anyways. It seems like I will do more damage than I would be able to pay for if I start prying things off.

Any guesses on shop hours billed to do the work, or a good shop anywhere between Charleston SC, and Jacksonville FL?

Thanks in Advance.

Please note that this is only for a W210 wagon. Not another wagon. I appreciate that there are people who have fixed other wagons, but am under the impression that different models were built differently. Stuck: past tense and past participle of stick.

The release mechanism no longer releases the latch. It is in the upright position indefinitely. I would prefer that it be able to move from upright, to prone when I use the mechanism for its intended use.

When pulling the release lever, it is readily apparent that the lever is not moving the latch, and therefor, the seat is in my amateur opinion, stuck. I would only speculate that it is stuck, because it does not move from one position to another, even though it was designed to be in two different positions.

The current position (upright) is the only position available at the moment. In a best case scenario, and working to factory spec, it could be in a laying flat position as well.
