Alignment

I got new tires about 2 years ago covered about 10,000km. Suddenly the steering felt a bit too light and strange. Pulled the wheels off and found rear tires worn on the inside corner.
Front wasnít so bad.

I checked all the suspension and steering components with a crowbar but couldnít find any play.
Iím running US tire size on a Euro spec car.
Are the alignment specs different for US and German cars?

Hi , i don't know ,if Us alignment data are different fron EU cars , (i think they should be the same). In the pictures it seems you have too much toe in.
Best regards

my 1998 e430 had similar issues. turned out to be negative camber, most of which the alignment shop was able to remove with the stock adjustments available.

if yours is beyond that, there are special bolts for the control arms that can add / remove about 3 degrees or you could replace a control arm with an adjustable one.

Finally got around to working on my front suspension. I did the left front LCA bushings. PITA but wow!! Huge difference in firmness and road feel. Iíll do the right side next week.

I would check for toe-out on both front and rear.
