just bought this car with 99kmi. Installed set of OEM Xenon/HID headlamps to replace my old, brown-lensed halogen ones. True plug & play, no problems. Two birds with one stone. Having them professionally aimed on this SLS wagon. Changed out the engine & tranny mounts (used to vibrate when put in reverse), and flex joints (old ones cracked). No rust PNW car, took me a while to find the right year/colour RWD E320 with a good maintenance history. Gonna be driving to the East Coast from PNW, so getting it in tiptop shape. Fun stuff....!

Exclamation Our latest w210 wagon Upgrades...

Replaced the rotting rear muffler on our wagon with a Flowmaster 40 Series for better sound & MPG.

Also replaced factory Resonator with a Y-pipe for max efficiency. Sounds like Jaguar E Type V-12 now.

Rotated tires, lubed/conditioned sway bar bushings with Aerospace 303 and replaced hub caps for $1.55 each from eBay

Caps actually looks nicer than the photo because of the reflection from the chrome.

Replaced the stock suspension with a set of new Koni Yellow adjustables and H&R Sport springs, professionally re-aligned with oem camber bolts. Original 3 bump spring pads were retained to approximate the standard euro-spec ride height. Parts cost was reasonable at $116 per shock and $227 for a set of 4 springs. I ordered online through Race Consulting Agency (no affiliation) which had the lowest prices I could find but also free shipping and no tax, the bolt kits were an additional $17 each from MB.

Very happy with the ride so far, the Konis were set to the softest setting to start and it's noticeably more comfortable than stock going over war-torn I-5, albeit the shocks were likely 18 years old w/140k miles, as to be expected handling improvement around corners is significant as well.

In the future, I may experiment with shorter front spring pads to give a hint of frontward 'rake' but happy with the look as is, hope to take some photos this week.

I'm thinking about installing the camber bolts. Were you able to get the camber within specs with the bolts?

Mine is off by about -1 degree, but haven't seen any unusual tire wear so far after 3K.

Yes the bolts allowed for alignment in stock camber range, readings below:

Front Left: -1.22°
Front Right: -1.31°
(Factory deviation: -1.14° // -1.34° )

Rrear Left: -1.41°
Rear Right: -1.47°
(Factory deviation: -1.35° // -1.55°)

Attached OEM mudflaps as the finishing touch to our rust abatement. Photo of the front mudflap shows the new cover between the rocker panel & body, which had completely disintegrated before we got the car. All rubber parts will be maintained using 303 Aerospace.
