1999 e320 4matic wagon. 298k. oil and filter, topside vacuum extractor so no mess.
bought it at 217k, just did front axles, struts, and all steering wear points about 1k ago. transmission fluid and filter at that time.
this car just keeps on going...
next up is rear window regulator rebuild, the lead button on the end of the cable inside the pulley failed. would be doing it today but I'm at my parents house and forgot the pop rivets and tool.
wife has a W211 and w212 wagon, we are an e wagon house. the w211 is a lemon, it's an 04 and has the dreaded SBC (we replaced it a couple of years ago), leaking rear air suspension, and now one of the wheel speed sensors is shot so abs, esp, and cruise are offline. interior and exterior are nice, plan is to get it back up to "everything works" and sell it. and I will NEVER buy a 2004-2006 w211. I MIGHT be persuaded to buy a 07-08 w211 wagon if it's in perfect condition, but because the rear seats don't fold flat I will probably look for a 2003 wagon when I get tired of looking at non structural rust on this w210.
