I am afraid it is a bit more than that. You have a W210, and the replacement transmission is for W220.

The vehicle speed sensor is located in the rear differential housing. And these rears have
different gear ratios as well. Without changing the rears may / will produce gear ratio errors and may cause limp mode.

Find a good technician who knows what he is doing. He will figure it out. You can install the compatible TCM and see what happens. If you have more issues, maybe he can find a mechanical solution with the gear ratios (vss).
