I agree with you on the price, but if it's the only game in town and I need to do it, I may have to suck it up. I do have a note in to my dealer parts guy about the parts. I sent him your part numbers and also the link to the Taiwanese parts. It sure looks like those part numbers you gave are only for the 126 chassis though according to the EPC. I'll let you know what I find out.
youre right, s. my PDF which yielded a match on the part # included the whole
MB price list.....and not limited to 210 which I thought. so the $10 part was for
earlier year. deleting my post.

this is a very old thread, allow me to revitalize...
from the chatting between raymond and sokoloff, it seems there might be a good pricing on oe seal, isn't it? could you advise what the parts# is?

my e300d is definitely in need of new seals...

I ended up replacing the entire guts to my driver's side mirror. Cost was about $500 from one of our wholesale dealers. Easy job once I figured out how to do it. My mirror spring had broken and been repaired in the past and the self-dimming liquid was leaking out, so I just went all out and fixed it all with the new part. It comes with a new seal. As for the passenger side, I did replace the rubber gasket only on that side. There was an old Mercedes part number on it, but it did not come up as available in the EPC. The gasket came from China/Thailand and must have been new old stock. The rubber wasn't as nice as I would expect from a fresh part, but it was a little better than what I had on there.

pair on ebay now for $65 shipped from thailand. the cutouts do not appear to
match the plugs within my mirror but at that point (deep inside) it wouldn't be
something that I would be concerned about. just cut "x' and pull the wire/plug
through and it should be fine.....that is, if you're otherwise okay with this item.

Welcome, shahidpour. Please take a moment to click user cp and edit details so you can add your vehicle and location to your profile, it's often useful information when you're seeking assistance.

Assuming you have a W210, then yes, these are the parts you need to replace the mirror seals/gaskets as detailed in this thread. The seller atpartsonline actually sells them a bit cheaper directly through their website than through ebay.

i dont recall ever seeing stand alone replacements for the 00-02 model 210s.
this does not mean they are not out there, but just harder to find. you can try
looking at your existing seal for a part number and take that to your dealer, or
to search the part # on the Web.
