Cabin filter tips

Edited by loubapache: The original links no longer work because Hastingsfilter changed the file names by adding an extra "c". Edited so the new links are working. I have also permanently attached the files in post #57 so no matter what Hastingsfilter does to its website in the future, the files are here.

I presume that, filter-wise, the E300D and the E320 are the same thing so that http://www.hastingsfilter.com/products/af1150.pdf applies?

Yep, although the one you note above is for the CHA$$$CHING charcoal filter, the other one is for the regular cabin filters.

The cabin filter set is $15 or so, IIRC. The charcoal element is over a hundred.

If I rarely, if ever, use the button for the carbon filter, will I have to replace the carbon filter at some point?

'87 300E: sold after 11years @ 230k & still on the road somewhere in rural Tennessee.

'94 C220 with 93k totalled 10/06 by hit & run broadsiding monster truck: not a scratch or bruise for me
