ESP, Tire Pressure monitoring, Collision prevention assist inoperative

Hi guys, I just got those 3 messages at once while going up a hill at a very slow speed since the ESP was working hard on the snow. What is causing that ? I bunch of sensors overheated ? I am on extended warranty, so I am not sure this is coved? Should I go to an independent shop first ? or straight to the dealer.

If you want intelligent advise from this forum, put some more detail in your profile such as your location, car details (year, model), etc.

Put this information and your location in your profile. So next time you have a new issue, everyone knows the important details.

Could all be down to the cold weather you were having. Has this cleared up now?

Yeah, it started working again the next day. I am not sure how these sensors work? Are they optic sensors and the snow was blocking them?

I’ve been to silver star twice in the past for this exact same problem. They have changed different sensors each time, but it doesn’t seem to be fixed as I had the same thing pop up today while going up Mont-Royal.

It usually goes away once I turn the car off. The acceleration will also be affected.

I’ll probably bring it again to see if they find anything.

Did you end up fixing yours?

Hi, the warnings went away on the second short drive the next day. I never went to the dealer to get this fixed as the warnings never came back. I am not sure what caused the sensors to malfunction? Are they mechanical or optical sensors ?
