Seriously you guys want to sue for anything. We donít get any wind noise in our C250 that you would even complain about. I got rid of my run flats for the comfort factor only as run flats have a more ridged side wall. Maybe turn the radio up.

If this was not a known problem, MB would not issue a TSB. If you review this thread, you will find many people complaining about the noise. Even the dealer has acknowledged the problem. My issue is that it is entirely at the discretion of the dealer, which car they select to fix. An expensive supposedly luxury car should not be so loud. Even with the radio, you had to turn up the volume to enjoy the music.

Maybe itís just the sedans aerodynamics that cause excessive wind noise and not the wagons. Ours has very little wind noise at any speed.

Yes, I believe it is the aerodynamics. One dealer told me that the culprit are the external side mirrors. The way wind passes between the front windshield pillars and the mirror makes that noise. The fix involves putting some extra padding in the front doors and replacing both the driver and passenger side door windows with a special acoustic glass. After the dealer performed this fix, it has made a huge difference. But still not as quiet as Lexus, but tolerable.
