I just picked up my C300 in Iridium Silver with the black MB-Tex interior and Burl Walnut trim. It has the Premium and Multimedia packages, 18" 5 spoke wheels, and BLIS. These are pictures of the car when it first got into the dealer's lot.
I only have a couple of hundred miles on the car so far, but initial impressions have been very positive. My last few cars have been Audi's, BMW's, and a Volvo S60, so I am used to good European quality cars. The C300 is well put together, feels tight and is quiet, handles well yet has enough suspension compliance to be comfortable over rough surfaces, has an excellent climate control system, and a truly exceptional audio system in the Burmester.
The Comand interface does take some getting used to, and there is a learning curve since everything has to be controlled through that interface. I've got it pretty much mastered already, but simple things like storing radio presets are not as direct as just pressing a single button.
The only two things I've found odd so far are the fact that the passenger's side seat headrest is only manually adjustable, and the power switch on the door is a dummy unless you have the optional full memory package. The other thing is that the multifunction display can not show the odometer if you have your speed shown. It's one or the other, and you have to scroll to see the odometer.
Overall, the car is impressive ... offering advanced electronics, competent handling with a comfortable ride, excellent build quality, comfortable seating, good visibility, a beautiful interior design, and a fantastic sound system. If the car turns out to have a good reliability record, and it's too early to know that, this should quickly become a huge success for MB.
