Unhappy first time mercedes owner

hi this is my first mercedes i have a 2007 c230 it has 198,000 miles. I aquired this car from a freind who owns a tow co. I had a key made and the car starts but it runs really rough, when i checked the oil it was like there were barnacles on the dip stick i had to wipe it and remove it like ten times to get a reading. okay i get it home and take air filters out they were brutal suprised the car even started.replaced air filters, then the spark plugs all bad got new ones car seemed to improve 90 percent. i drive it to work and it start driving like shit again, mis firing no power fan making a loud noise like a jet. i pop the hood and one of the coil packs was loose i tighten it up and all back to normal almost. now i drove it and the car sounds like a diesel and fan sounds like its on full speed like a jet. now the car is throwing up codes p0017,p0025 and almost every cylinder is misfiring. so i change the oil and fire it up now it runs worse and the oil is not circulating to the filter i can unscrew filter while it is running and no oil sprays out or even moves. do you think the ports are clogged down bsy the pan or my engine is shot. on the display screen it says car has not been serviced for 50,000 miles/ can anyone help or have any suggestions thanks

Have you put in fresh fuel?

Could be the old stuff in the tank has separated and your engine is reacting to the slug that is being pumped in.

Id look into draining the tank and throw a bottle of sea foam in for good measure.

Camshaft adjuster magnet module could be faulty - common issue.

Worse case scenario - camshaft sprocket adjuster teeth failure.

get your timing chain checked out
