Head Lights Low beam lamp

Dear Experts,

After i got the "Check Right Low Beam" on display, I found my right low beam not working. I have ordered pair of low beam lamps from genuinemercedesparts. com. Is there anyway i can make sure they are OEM/at least compatible before i go ahead and change the lamp??? any part number or something like that??

I appreciate your help.

Thanks.

If you have halogens they are just regular H7 bulbs.

Someones knows if there is a LED H7 bulb, bright enough for headlight not jkust for fog light? Most reviews say LED headlight is not bright enough but OK to use as fog light.

Not available on the market as far as I know. Most likely in development.

I know Toyota Pruis has LED headlight (not fog light) starting 2010, on its highest version (level V or so?). I have its 2011 brochure but I don't know what size it is.

it really has less to do with the bulb than it does with the housing to properly reflect LED type lighting without scatter.

But what about lumen? That is the most important specification.

There are LEDs that can achieve the same lumen output as halogen, but those are pricey with complicated heat dispersal, especially in confined spaces. That's why it's suggested to just go HID for lighting that needs to project out.
