Chrysler does not own Mercedes, Mercedes owns Chrysler. Daimler Benz purchased Chrysler a few years back changing its name to Daimler Chrysler which owns Mercedes Car group and Chrysler car group. It also seems as much of the higher ups and management are from the germans. As you can see from recent products this has been good news for Chrysler.

...just a clarification for the gentlemen who stated Chrysler owns Mercedes.

P.S. This design on this c-class is a better one than the last C I bought but I cant say I had a dramatic reaction to it be it positive or negative. I'll have to see it in person. Great effort by mercedes but I was expecting so much more this time around to finally stomp a certain competitor that shall not be named. Can't wait to test drive it and hopefully have them prove me wrong.

Chrysler/Daimler was a "merger of equals"...would have been kind of hard to swallow as a Daimler stakeholder...hence the subsequent years of legal fun and games.

new c

Fantastic looking new C! White doesn't do much for me but I think I will have to hit the local dealer for a test drive when they come in. Maybe trade the 07 C230 Sport I just got for my girlfriend!

Nice looking w204

Finally a sharp looking C Class to beat the new BMW 3 series in styling. I hope performance and reliability will be better too, less of the plastic penny saving interiors and cheap electronics that break down. Shame the E class still can't challenge the BM 5 series much.

That's what they called it, but we all know what really happened.
