BAS & ESP message help

I have done some front end work tie rod ends & lower control arms) to a recently acquired 2004 C240 RWD Wagon and I am now getting ESP message that will not clear with the turn the wheel trick, and a BAS message that usually appears after highway driving. Additionally, the windshield wipers stopped working entirely after the work was done. I did have the battery out for replacement while the other work was being performed. I also am getting the "Light sensor-Se workshop" message that will not go away either.

Fuse for wipers is good. Couldn't find a fuse to check for the other two systems.

Is there something that got electrically fried that is common to all of these circuits when the battery was changed.

I should also note that the car gave me a low battery message one time but it passed and went away.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Hope this all makes sense to you guys.

I do not have access to the proprietary MB computer equipment unfortunately. Is there a clone version that is available on the internet? And, if so what is a good one/price to pay?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! Please take a moment to visit the User Control Panel and update your profile to include your car model and year, and your location (at least country). This information will then appear below your name and avatar on the left side panel next to each post you make. This will greatly help others to give you better information. If you are using the mobile version of the site, you will need to switch to the "full" version to get to the User Control Panel.

It's probably a wheel speed sensor issue, since that's in the area where you were working. You can get a SDS turnkey system pre-installed on a used laptop for under $400 on alibaba, dhgate, ebay, etc. If that;s too much or too complex, then iCarsoft i980 or MBII, or the Autel MD802 Elite can also pull codes.
