Help - oil / grease around wheel centre

Hello.
This happened twice so far, I see grease around the wheel centre cap, anyone ?

Probably a good idea to remove the wheel and take a look at the hub assembly. Maybe coming from the wheel bearing cap,clean it up and see where it is coming from.

I figured it's the bearing yes, I wonder why this is happening.
Not what to look for if I removed the wheel.

Maybe the cap is not on properly,allowing grease to leak out.
Look for signs of grease coming out,to fix it just carefully use a hammer to seat the cap correctly.

You were right. It's the bearing dust cap. Damaged in a weird way

Wow, I thought maybe it was loose. I wonder how it got damaged? Maybe some sloppy work in the past perhaps.
Were you able to repair it or are you replacing it?

Just buy a new one. It does not need to be a genuine part - those caps are pretty much all the same as long as you match the diameter and depth. I'd take it to the local auto parts store and get them to find a suitable replacement.
