Please assist me on the problem with my W203 C-Class 2001 model. What happens is that sometimes when am driving the cluster instruments suddenly goes off, the radio goes off and all the indicators stops working except for the Hazard lights. After that l could even hears the fan coming on.

When this happens all l do is stop the car switch off the engine then re-start the engine and everything goes back to normal.

I really don't know what causes this problem, can someone please help on l could resolve this problem?

It could be caused by many things - an electrical short (probably int he CAN bus system), voltage problems (weak battery/alternator) or a bad EIS. I think you will need a qualified tech with the appropriate tools (like SDS) to track this down.
