Inspection

I have driven my c240 just over 400 miles which reduced the number of codes from 6 to 4. And that was after replacing the battery and crankshaft p sensor.
Codes were O2 sensor, catalist, g...
How many miles do I still have to drive it in order for the codes to be cleared for the inspection

Are you talking about the "readiness" codes or is the MIL (check engine light) illuminated wit DTCs stored? If you have an MIL, then you will need to fix those faults with the appropriate repairs. If you are just not clearing all the readiness codes, try this drive cycle:

I did not have any codes until I replaced the battery and the CPS. Now the car has 6 codes according to the inspection station and told need to drive it for about 80 miles to clear them, EGR, O2 sensor and others. I drove it close to 400 miles which dropped the codes down to 4. What is the average miles for Mercedes needed to be driven in order to get clear codes and readiness for inspection. I Drove my old Pacifica 60 miles and codes were beautifully cleared. I might need to go back to my Pacifica and give a way the Benz to someone needy.

OK, so these are readiness codes and not malfunctions, so no MIL. Try that drive cycle I posted. It has helped many people clear these codes.
