While doing oil chance. I noticed what it appears to be a mild leak of oil from somwhere. The oil seems to be dripping off the wire/line as pointed in the pictures. Can some one please shed some light on what I can do to fix this before it gets worse. Your help or advise is much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Fahad

I think with all the Password issues we may have missed your post, because I'm sure someone would have been able to help. I'm sorry I can't really identify what we are looking at there. Hopefully my reply might prompt some help.

Fahad I don't know either.

I wanted to say thanks to the thread starter. After years of paying somebody to do my oil changes I finally did my own the other day. It was a royal PITA the first time but I think it will be easier in the future now that I know what I'm doing.

Good video. A couple of suggestions:

1. Purchase an oil extractor for under $50 USD. Never have to go under the car to drain oil.
2. If you are going to drain from under car, don't install new filter. Unscrew filter housing and leave it loose to allow air to break seal so the draining is easier.
3. Prior to screwing in filter housing add a small amount of oil on your finger and rub each of the three o-rings to have them 'wet'. Don't install dry o-rings.
