I would not recommend going with an oil impregnated airfilter. This sometimes let's oil go into the MAF Sensor filaments and kills the MAF. This happened to me on a naturally aspirated MB V6. When I replaced the MAF I went back to a stock airfilter. A supercharged engine will bring in more air volume making this risk even higher (same with cold air intake).

Just swapped out my dirty filter with a new one (no K&N) Took minutes. No zip tie cutting, just undid the hex bolts cleaned out the bottom of the air box, dropped in the new one than put it all back together.

The pictures don't make sense in my 2002 C230 Kompressor coupe.
33-2193 - K&N is the replacement filter and it is rectangle.

Why messing with the zip tie? is it on the way of removing the AIR FILTER cover?

Is this the right one for my car?

The "Stealership" wants $115, I'd rather get the same thing for $25.95 and do it myself!
But I just want to know if I am buying the right filter for my 2005 C230 Kompressor Sedan with Sport Package...thanks
