Vacum lock system question ???

I tried to hook up an Keyless entry which should be connected to the vacum pum. The keyless entry did not work. so, I change my mind

I rewired everything back the way it was before
Then
The vacum do not activate when I try to open from the driver or passenger door however the pump activate from the trunk

Any idea what did I do wrong ??
could be any fuse ???
could be any relay that i can not find hidding some where because i check all of the fuses and they are ok ??

Please help

did you use relays for the keyless or did you hook it straight to the wires? where did you hook them up to as in the drivers door or the passengers door or at the pump? check all of your connections again.

I connected at the pump using a relay.

I removed the stupid Keyless entry totally and I rewired back the way it was before.

I check the fuse and the fuse is fine

The pump works and all doors open when I use the car key at the trunk.

Question: why the driver and passenger no longer activate the pump???
What is in between the (driver , passenger) and the vacum pump??
Is there a fuse in between ???
Is there electrical device that by mistake I shorted it up ????

Why by the trunk still working and not by the driver or passenger doors???

Please someone help me to solve this mistery>>>>>>

I attached these to try to give you an idea of how the system is setup. It really depends on what year of vehicle you have because there was changes over the years.

You might try disconnecting the plug going to the pump and then disconnecting the battery and leaving it over night and let the system reset. Then hook it back up.

I have the full testing procedures for the system if you want them or you can get a copy of the w201 manual here Modified Technologies, Inc | Enthusiast Gear which has them in it

it sounds like you shorted the pump. im gonna do a writeup on keyless install when i figure out what car im gonna use, more then likely its the 93 which is a clean slate. im gonna move the mods over from the 87 and keyless is one of them. unless someone in jersey has a mb that needs keyless im willing to install it and do a write up on it.

I'll post a schematic diagram later, after the hocky game..
The keyless entry module has to be able to output a pulse of at lease 2.5 seconds for it to work properly.

the pump has an internal circuit board. just because the pump works doesnt mean its working properly. where did you cut the wire to tap into the locks? theres several locations under the drivers floor area, the pass. floor area, the trunk, or from the pump. the pump has a spade disconnect that is near the pump thats a good place to tap into that doesnt require actual cutting. jump the brown black and green in the drivers door lock or the brown and blue in the pass side that goes into the switch/actuator. if theres movement then the switch is bad. if theres nothing then your pump is bad. jumping the wires acts like you are manually switching it.
