Does the A class feel "small"?

I've had a 2001 C class, 2004 S class... and now a Buick LaCrosse. But thinking to go back to Mercedes. I think the A class is interesting, with updated tech. But will it feel too small? And is this the right forum to discuss the USA version that's on sale now?

Garage
I leased my A250 hatchback two months ago - replacing my GLK250 - and cabin size is about the same as my GLK. But the car reliability is not good. It was at the dealership for repairs many times since new

The first day ,after taking delivery, the inside mirror felt off. 15 minutes repair
Leaving the dealership after that repair, check engine light appears. I had to bring back the car - 2 hours
Two weeks later, I got a 4matic not working error. Back to the dealer, they checked the codes and did not find the issue
The day after, the Mercedes Me apps was not working properly. The dealer had to reset everything from his end.
Leaving the dealership, the 4matic not working error pop-up again.
The car was at the dealership for 2 weeks to resolve this issue.
Then the SOS system stop working. Another half a day to reprogram.
Now the car has develop a drivetrain vibration .....

I love the dynamic of the car but reliability so far is very bad.

Sounds like my 2001 C240. Loved the car but many repairs.

A220 Sedan

We purchased the A220 USA (California) Sedan version two weeks ago. Yes, the car feels smaller than the current C class but we like it. Car handles great when running! The current C Class just feels big to us as compared to previous generations.

The car has failed to start twice now and has been in the shop more than in our possession. It had to be towed and Mercedes Roadside assistance experience was poor. The car is in the shop again - hopefully the dealer will fix the no-start condition this time.
