Grinding Noise From Brakes When Stopping

My 2015 A200 CDI is only 3 months and 4k KM old, and every time I come to a complete stop, I can hear a pretty loud grinding from the brakes. There is no brake fading or other loss in stopping power, but I'm quite concerned as to why there is such a loud sound in a relatively new car. I showed this to my dealer and they said it's "normal", but I cannot believe it.
Any info would be appreciated.

As this is a new car and your not 100% happy, then i woul;d return it. And tell them its not acceptable. For all they know it may not have any disc pads in till its been inspected .Say for my piece of mind. I want you to check it out. Thinking about this i lost one compleat ferodo material pad from my car .Dont know where it went, and there was no sign of it , only the backing plate .
