W176 car audio speakers Help

Hi Everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my speakers and I'm looking to do them myself. As I have always been to car audio places and they rip you off with labour. I have a few questions and would love some replies on the following. I've done some research already but I want to make sure before I start buying anything.

- Is the speakers size for front 16cm(6.5")
- Are the rear speakers the same size?

I'm looking to buy Coaxial speakers for the front and rear because it's easier to install.

- Do I need an amp? (The max power of the speakers are 120watt)
I was hoping it's a straight swap job no messing with extra wiring.

Does anyone recommend any makes and models for speakers? The ones I'm looking at are:

Would appreciate any replies thanks :-)

Hi there,

If I were you, I'd remove the panels and measure the speakers. Video link here on how to remove panels, but I am guessing you know how to allready:

I think 120W each is going to be more than enough, but I dont know if you'd need an amplifier. And will the circuit handle that?

I recommend getting some dynamat around the speakers for vibration reduction. I used dynamat in my car for general sound insulastion from roid noise, but I must say the speakers sound a lot better.
