Mysterious chime

Recently, my 2015 ML250 has started doing something I can't figure out. Not very long after the first start of the day, as I'm driving, I get a single chime from the dash. It sounds like it comes out of the same place as the proximity or blind spot warning beeps, but doesn't sound like either of them; it's much more melodious. There are no indicators lit at all on the dash and no message in the information panel.

I'm thinking that it's used by some system my vehicle doesn't have, and something's getting confused and setting it off. Anyone have any ideas?

The only one I can think of is the seat belt chime, but it kinda gets into a cranky chime if you donít put it on.

Take a video of it next time if it does it every time on first start up.

Is there a dot on your navigator screen indicating a point of interest POI? My 2013 dings in the driveway when I crank the car.

Hm. You know, it might be doing it at the same place every time, and it's a place I only go first thing in the morning on my way to work. I've been driving my 560SL all week, since the weather's been pretty, but I might take the ML250 to work this afternoon just to see.

Yeah, that's it: there's a round icon on the nav display that isn't htere unless I'm about to get to that exact spot, and when it appears, the chime sounds.

Now all I need to do is figure out how to delete that spot.
