Question Driver's side carpet wet

Hi, I have a 2015 ML350 Bluetec and I was vacuuming the front drivers side and the carpet is wet. We had a heavy rain last night.

Has anyone got any ideas where the water might have come from??

Thanks,

The first place to check would be the sunroof drains.

Check and make sure all drain holes are cleared free for the water to travel from the engine bay and the sunroof tracks.

Get this done quick otherwise you might develop electrical gremlins!!

Thank you for your information. I was planning on using a flexible wire. Would you have any other suggestions for clearing the drain holes. I am assuming I will need to clear the entire path.

Thank you,

Wet vacuum is good from the top.

Hey,

Check the reed valve as well, usually Mercedes keeps a uniform location for this. If its obstructed, this will leak into the foot-well of the ML.

Flexible wire is good as well but be extremely caution when doing this. Do your research first then plan your works.

Hope it all works out friend!
