Blower motor not working.

Hi all, I'm new to this sight. Glad that I found it. I have a 2003 ML500 and the blower motor stopped working. 6 months ago I replaced the blower motor and it indeed was bad. A couple of days ago in the searing heat the motor quit working again. I just need a few ideas here before I start troubleshooting the system. I was told that the resistor block board may be at fault. It mounts right next to the blower motor. What is the best trouble shooting method for this because there could also be an issue with the control on the dash board. Where can I check voltages on this piece to verify this is the problem and not somewhere else. The rear AC unit fan works okay.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks John
