Auxiliary Cooling Fan Won’t Shut Off

Recently, my aux fans have been kicking on when idling with the AC on. Engine temp is showing about 80C. No overheating symptoms. Usually shut off within a few minutes of turning off vehicle. Tonight, however, the fans are still running 2+ hours after the vehicle was turned off. What gremlin could be causing this?

faulty temperature sensor?
OR
maybe the relay is stuck in the activated position?
Try using a similar looking relay and swap it with the fan relay.
