2002 ML Class Hood (Bonnet) alarm sensors

Hi Members,

Can anyone confirm? whether or not, all ML models (specifically 02 & 03) had as a standard, hood (bonnet) oem alarm sensor switches.

Some of the older threads refer to a plunger-style alarm switch located at the firewall near the horn, or possibly tied into the hood latch lock assembly?

Are you referring to the alarm horn or the alarm switch on the hood lock?

Thanks Witek_M,

Did not realize this until now. I was sure I had seen other replies on this topic and didnt think much of it. Realize now when this was posted, my network had a hiccup during the posting so... (Or maybe... I lost my mind at that time...)

Admin, please delete this thread if possible. And I'll reboot my mind.
