P0715 again

Ok so this car had p0715 and was in limp mode stuck in first. I replaced the conductor plate and refilled with shell atf134. After having the hard code reset at a shop the car ran perfectly for 3 weeks. Now the code p0715 is back and it’s stuck in 2 nd. Checking the fluid it looks very light and clear hardly any red in it.

You said "Ok so this car....", this is the w163 forum.....these are suvs...

Clarify..... are inquiring for your W210 or a W163?

Possible issues -

1) Faulty Transmission SS
2) Transmission Speed Sensor harness is open or shorted
3) Transmission SS circuit - poor electrical connection

Have you checked these?

All that has to do is with the conductor plate. What I don’t understand is that I replaced the conductor plate a few weeks ago with a genuine Mercedes one.
