Well you guys both make some solid points I won't argue with that. As for information your right I haven't seen any posts about it so I'm kinda flying in blind here but if it goes well I'd be happy to share with others and if it doesn't then I guess I can warn others. I am going through university so don't expect a load of cash to be thrown at it but if you guys don't hear something by the end of January you know I've chickened out . Also if I can find a Mercedes super charger for cheap I'm definitely going to give it a shot but the biggest problem is getting ahold of one

Could also look to see if there's any wrecked Chrysler crossfire SRT6.... They use the same engine.

I can find a couple superchargers for M113 engines on eBay...Maybe if you look hard enough?

Go for it!!!! we would all be still driving modelT fords if people didn't try new stuff. I hope it works out really well. You've given me the enthusiasm to try and get this 55k engine off my friend.
Spoke to him this morning and he's keen to get rid of it.

It is, yeah. But it shouldn't be too hard to find just the supercharger for a M112... If people are selling the supercharger for M113, then it stands to reason that there's others who are selling for M112.

The reason why we're giving you such tough love is because going the custom route means serious $$$$. It's not like Chevy LS1 or Ford coyote where a couple bolts on mods double the power...you'll be basically paving the way yourself. Finding someone who can fab the exhaust manifolds, custom exhaust, custom wiring harness (what, you thought you could get by on stock wiring harness? Think again), someone to tune the ECU so it plays nicely with the forced induction and the TCU needs to play along too....

In short, you'd need a minimum of 10k to start.

Now, adapting a supercharger, that's not too difficult. You just have to cast a very wide net to catch a car that has a M112k engine, or find someone parting out the car....

Either way, you'll be playing the long game.

@Deplore your very right ill be keeping my eyes out for a supercharger for sure ! As for the custom work most of that will be done by me i have access to a pipe bender lathe and lots of other tools and i can weld. Its definitely not my first rodeo but your 100% right when it comes to wiring, sensors and tuning thats where it get sorta tricky in my eyes but we will see how it goes
@mattml430 if he sells it cheap it would be awesome to see you go the swap route ! and compare the amount of work to turboing

Supercharger has been added to M112 engine. Maybe once or twice.
https://www.benzworld.org/forums/w163...-pictures.html

Turbo has been added, maybe never. Because if they had, they would be on here bragging about it with photos.

Sadly, supercharged ML320 photos are gone, but it did exist.
