ML430 Brembo brakes refurb (pic heavy)

My Brakes were looking a little tied so thought i would tidy them up and here's
a few pictures showing the process:

wheel off and clean up with brake cleaner:

strip out the pads and sensor wires and scotch brit the surface to key it up:

masked up surrounding area and give it a coat of high temp white primer:

Then gave it a coat of high temp bright brembo red:

I then popped the pads and sensors back in and picked the bolts out in black:

and finally fitted the high temp vinyl graphics:

i repeated the same procedure for the backs too:

Then wheels back on and back on the deck:

Looking good. I use a an epoxy caliper paint on the track cars that is brushed on.

It looks like you used a spray. Was the primer high temp also?

Thanks,

its sitting high in the first picture of it back on the floor as it had just been lowered off the ramp so the suspension hadn't settled, as for the wheels there 20" bk racing and i think they really suit the look of the car.

They even have a high temp vinyl at this place.

I would use a stencil and high temp paint. I have seen way too many melted stickers at the track.

Thanks. Im going to do mine at some point as the MB logo is partially worn off the calipers, that stencil looks like the way to go. Cool link! Question though, what size stencil should i get for the front and the rear, as the rear calipers are smaller. 3 inch for front and 2 inch for rear?
