Removing the passenger seat of 2000 ML320

I am trying to remove the passenger seat of a 2000 ML320. I have a built-in lock box that makes access to the underside of the seat tight.

My question - I need to disconnect the wiring from the seat obviously before removing the seat. It feels like there is just a push in tab on each short side of the connector. But pushing these tabs and pulling and trying to wiggle the connecor does nothing.

I can not actually see under there at all. I am just totally clueless about it just being a simple connection that should just pull off? Or do I just need to pull harder? Thanks for answering just a basic question.

Darn--I've done the driver's seat, but now I don't recall the connectors. If you can look at the ones under the driver's side more easily, I think they're the same type. You should also have enough slack to unbolt the seat and tip it a little for access.

The lockbox blocks the view connections even with the seat tipped up. All I can make out is that it is a large black rectangle.

The clip (large black rectangle) you see push's to one side or the other, at the same time it slides it will disconnect the connector. You will have to remove the four place connector that is contained within the slide lock first. I think it was blue or red on that car.

Top five reasons I posted in your topic:

1. You're talking about god, there has never been any god of any kind. EVER!

2. I just have a general dislike of you.

3. I am trying to tell you how to fix your Mercedes and you are not listening.

4. I'm flirting with Jody.

5. You're just to dumb to own a Mercedes, and should go buy a Honda.
