1993 400SEL Dies When Hot/ Bucks Under A Load
I believe I have reduced the issues witg my car down to two, but I really need some help.
The first problem is that my car will run fine until it gets hot. Then it dies and won't restart until it cools off. Engine spins over fine, but won't run. It will start and immediately die. I have read on previous posts that this is a classic symptom of a faulty crank sensor, but the car doesn't display any codes and my indy doesn't want to change it without any codes, but will if I request it. I ordered both crank sensors and they are available at the local MB dealer to pick up in the morning. Thoughts?
My second issue is that the car stumbles taking off from a stop and bucks like a bronco under moderate to heavy acceleration, like entering a freeway onramp. Prior posts claim that is a MAF sensor issues, but again, no codes at all.
Any advice is welcome.
