Push Button start mod

Hello all,

I'm looking to do a push button start on a 95 W140 S600. Is there anyone who has tried this with success?
The ultimate would be a hidden switch to turn off alarm to allow for a push button start without a key fob.

The offset would be an additional switch to kill fuel after starting as an antitheft, or one switch/relay that does both. Allowing average driver/owner to use keys and keeping the integrity of the alarm intact.

Thanks in advance with any help on this.

In case of lost keys far from home. Definitely going to need a fob on the outside. Any issues with ignition, antitheft system, shall I go on.

I did this last week. Very simple. My ignition switch decided not to crank the engine.

Ran a two wire cable from the starter thru a hole in the passenger floor. Across the console, out by right side of the drivers seat. Piece of cake.

Thank you for the reply, are you able to start it without the key in the ignition? Without key is what I'm looking for!

No, This mod wont allow that. I did it because for some unknown reason, while my ignition switch turned on the electrics, it wouldnt allow it to crank.

Of course, as soon as I wired around the swith, it decided to cooperate
