M120 Fuel pressure regulator

Hi , I just purchased a FPR for my 1996 S600 coupe.
Part number is: Bosch 0280160587 (Made in Brazil).
Just some (bad) questions:
There is only ONE fpr on the M120 engine right?
I was surprised to read that this part fits a lot of engines.. 6 cylinder , V8 and V12 .. really they all use the same fuel pressure?

Yes and yes. Injectors and injector dwell and timing is what differentiates things.

Great so I got the right part for my car!
I don't even know if the old one has a problem .. but it's a good preventative maintenance to change it.
The ebay seller didn't do a good job of packing it though , he sent it in a bubble wrapper bag. No cardboard box or anything.
Once it arrived here , the mailman tried to squeeze the bag through the slot in my door.. which didn't fit , so it was sticking out for anyone to just steal it.
How fragile is this part? The outside looks good, but I don't know about the internals.
