Why do these things always start at 6-7AM? I'd have to be on the road by 4AM to get there on time? Instead of a "coffee" get together, what about a "beer for lunch" get together?

Or better yet a mid afternoon bourbon for the boys. Seriously, 7:00AM on a Saturday is absurd! Even if you are local. 9:00 to 12:00 would make more sense.

This is the same reason that when I was running 25-30 miles per week (17 years and 100# ago), I did not enter races because they were always at 7:00 AM on a Saturday morning!!!

"Maybe"? Probably not. However, I am amazed that there are that many Benz groups sprinkled around the Southern part of the State. There must not be many on this forum or they are just "lookie-loos" hiding in the wings. We need a "How many 140 owners are in So Cal" column. And does the Classic Car Center in Irvine offer any kind of tour for us oldies? And of course, would it be open on Saturdays?

I was able to arrange a couple of meets yeeaarsss ago. Met Fr3nzy (drove from LA), Brett (San Diego) and vvee12 (from San Jose) and we converged at the Classic Center. We werent lucky the first year but the next year they let us in. Havent arranged any since then bec of family and work obligations.
I agree there are lookie-loos here. 3 of my buddies have W140s and none of them are registered here
